RIBCRAFT Creates Grant Writing Guide For Local Agencies

Marblehead, MA, August 26, 2005 – RIBCRAFT, the designer and manufacturer of commercial rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) for military, law enforcement and safety and rescue professionals, announced the creation of a grant writing guide for local agencies.

In an effort to assist local municipalities, RIBCRAFT has created a step by step guide to attaining federal and private grant monies. With the mission of the Coast Guard changing to meet the growing demands of homeland security, more and more coastal communities are finding themselves having to step in to provide basic safety patrols and rescues along their shores.

“Though Homeland Security and other federal grants abound for first responders, often small towns and cities find themselves in unfamiliar territory when writing and submitting grants”, stated RIBCRAFT’s director of Marketing, Matthew Velluto. “This packet provides a detailed set of guidelines, helpful hints and useful links to help towns navigate the often daunting grant writing process”.

About RIBCRAFT RIBCRAFT has established its position as a designer and builder of technologically advanced RIBS that fulfill the most demanding professional, military, and rescue roles.
