RIBCRAFT Delivers Boat to Town of Lamoine Fire Department

MARBLEHEAD, MA - RIBCRAFT, the United States manufacturer of professional grade rigid inflatable boats for safety professionals, law enforcement, and military agencies announced the recent delivery of a RIBCRAFT 6.5 to the Town of Lamoine Volunteer Fire Department.

The purpose built RIB will be used by the fire department for search and rescue operations. Given Lamoine’s location on the Gulf of Maine with many recreational boaters visiting the nearby state parks, the new RIB will provide the department with enhanced water rescue and rapid response operations.

The 21'5" RIBCRAFT 6.5 features a center console with a leaning post, aluminum T-top with full size windscreen, antenna arch with integrated dive ladder, forward tow post, and transom bollards. The boat includes 360 degree scene lighting and a complete enhanced communication and navigation package with VHF, GPS, and Radar which will give the Department improved capabilities for search and rescue at night and in bad weather conditions. Equipped with a single 150HP Honda outboard, the boat will reach speeds in excess of 40mph. The versatile and open layout makes the boat the ultimate on water response apparatus.
