The RIB will be used by the Sheriff’s Department Underwater Search and Rescue Team for dive operations, general search and rescue applications, and special operational patrols. Easy to deploy at a moment’s notice, this versatile RIB will be used extensively in lakes, ponds, and rivers throughout Berkshire County.
The 15’7” RIBCRAFT 4.8 professional grade RIB features a forward positioned console, large open aft deck, an antenna arch, and a single 50HP Yamaha four stroke engine. Although small, the boat provides the flexibility and transportability required, while still offering an open stable platform for diving and rescue operations.
