Florida Fish & Wildlife Take Delivery of RIBCRAFT Patrol Craft

Marblehead, MA June 23, 2006 – RIBCRAFT, the United States manufacturer of rigid inflatable boats for law enforcement, safety professionals, and military agencies, today announced the delivery of a specialized RIBCRAFT 6.5 to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission.

The 21’ RIBCRAFT 6.5 was delivered to the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for use on Lake Okeechobee for fisheries enforcement and basic recreational safe boating patrols. Featuring a tube rugeddizing package with dark grey Hypalon tube & black reinforcing, this low profile fast response craft with a single OptiMax Mercury engine was specifically designed to compete with the high horsepower fishing boats found on the lake. Able to reach speeds in excess of 50 mph, the 21’ RIBCRAFT with its deep V hull will easily conquer the elements on Lake Okeechobee.
