RIBCRAFT Works to Expand Offerings to Hawaiian Tour Market

Marblehead, Massachusetts, November 27, 2005 – RIBCRAFT, today announced, that it has signed Pacific Basin Inflatables of Kauai, Hawaii as a certified service and warranty center. Additionally, RIBCRAFT announced the completion of an extensive research and development project designed to further develop their offshore series of rigid inflatable boats.

In an effort to better meet the needs of their Hawaiian customers and the underserved Hawaiian market as a whole, RIBCRAFT recently completed two weeks of on-water testing in the Pacific to refine and improve offerings found in the RIBCRAFT offshore series. This culminated in a successful crossing between Kauai and Maui aboard a 29’ certified RIBCRAFT 9.0 Tour model equipped with twin 225HP Honda four stroke outboards. Safely handling the Force 7 conditions encountered along the 200+ mile passage, this boat featured many of the improvements to be found in the RIBCRAFT offshore line of RIBs.
