Seeing Double
As promised, here are a couple photos of the RIBCRAFT 4.8s from yesterday's sea trial.
Not only did the boats perform perfectly they are incredibly functional.

Hi Brendan,
The bow covering you see is what we call tube reinforcing. It's a flat 1/8" thick piece of rubber that we permanently affix to the tube to provide additional chafe and wear protection. This reinforcing can also be extended above and below the rubstrake as part of our total ruggedizing package.
The reinforcing at the bow is great for boats with a forward tow post.

Hey, I saw one of those go by on a trailer while I was at Starbucks. The red lights caught my eye.
If you ever need a test driver, shoot me an email! ;)

Fred,
But can you do my 5.85 with the ruggedizing package? I do have a bow towpost.
Once this summer I hit a wave in a tall head sea so hard the bow folded back and hit the two post. Rib Stayed on plane!!!!!!!!
Let me know.

Brendan,
Absolutely - just give RIBCRAFT a call and we can schedule your boat for the reinforcing.
I'm assuming all is fine with the boat now after your head sea encounter. Those conditions are really what a RIB is designed for.

Fred,
All is fine. I'll call Matt for an estimate.
